What is a Legal Nurse Consultant
I (Dr. Angela Blakley, DNP RN CNL) am a registered nurse that can provide consultation on medico-legal cases. They help lawyers read medical records and understand medical terminology. Legal nurse consultants do not need to have a legal education, but they do need broad medical knowledge and basic legal knowledge. They act as a liaison between the medical and legal fields and offer a variety of services to ensure law professionals handle medical-and health related cases appropriately.
